Examples Of What Neurofeedback Can Help

Developmental Trauma

Neurofeedback offers treatment for symptoms of childhood abuse, trauma, and PTSD. Neurofeedback, especially deep neurofeedback, helps to regulate the autonomic stress response.  Although traditional "talk therapy" can help with coping skills and generally processing trauma, neurofeedback can help to heal the brain.

Concussions

Concussions can result in brain dysregulation that can still  cause problems years or decades later.  Symptoms such as anxiety, depression, sleep challenges, chronic pain and temperature dysregulation can often be traced to head trauma.   Neurofeedback is scientifically shown to help with head trauma.

Depression

Sometimes depression can be a result of environmental stress however depression and other mood disruptions can also be traced to brain dysregulation.  Clients often say, "I feel depressed but I'm unsure why I feel this way".  Neurofeedback can often help with depression, bipolar, dysthymia and premenstrual dysphoric disorder.

Migraines

Migraines are often associated with a disruption in the autonomic nervous system, which is the focus of deep neurofeedback.  Many clients who have suffered from migraines, find that they no longer get migraines. or note a drastic reduction in symptoms, after participation in neurofeedback.

ADD /ADHD

More neurofeedback research has been done with ADD and ADHD than any other brain dysregulation, with impressive outcomes. There are many causes of focus issues including anxiety, sleep, and head trauma-- all of which can respond well to neurofeedback.

Tinnitus

Until recently most medical professionals have seen limited success in treating tinnitus.  With new advances in sLORETA 19 channel ISF training, tinnitus symptoms can often be minimized or eliminated.
